On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, the University of Southern Denmark will host the new edition of the POLIS Workshop: Polity, Politics, and Policies of Promoting Physical Movement. With the aim of fostering closer cooperation among academics in the field of sport politics, the Centre for Research in Sport, Health, and Civil Society at the University of Southern Denmark welcomes practitioners and academics interested in the Polity, Politics, and Policies of Sport to the POLIS workshop. This event will provide a platform to present ongoing research, explore new ideas for collaborative projects, and identify future research agendas.

Suggested presentation topics include:

  • Municipal Physical Movement Policies
  • National Physical Movement Policies
  • Comparative International Studies
  • Ideas for Future Research Collaborations and Funding

However, any abstract relevant to the academic field will also be accepted. Interested participants should submit a short abstract (maximum 250 words) including the title, institutional affiliation, and contact details by Friday, December 6, 2024.
